Idaho Pasture Pigs

Idaho Pasture pigs are a newer breed of pig that was designed to grow and mature at a faster rate than Kunekune pigs. Idaho Pasture Pigs are a true grazing pig and are able to reach market weight within 9-10 months (approx. 250lbs) while eating primarily grass.

Sows will mature to 250-350lbs while a boar will mature to 350-450lbs.Idaho Pasture Pigs come in a variety of colors including black/white, ginger, tri-colored, cream, and many combinations of these colors. They are a mix of three different breeds Duroc, old Berkshire, and Kunekune. They have a similar temperament to the Kunekune being that they are extremely gentle, loveable and love attention. They have also inherited the shorter and upturned snout from the Kunekune which allows them to graze on pastures. As long as your pigs are getting the proper nutrients that they need you won't have to worry about rooting.

We are extremely dedicated to proving the highest quality in terms of breeding stock. Conformation, temperament, grazing ability, and growth rate are all important factors into the decision we make when determining breeding quality versus feeder quality.

We sell registered breeding gilts, registered breeding boars, as well as feeders (Fixed male piglets). We are now taking deposits for upcoming litters. For more information, please feel free to email or call.
